  • Audi e-tron priced between Rs 99.99 lakh and Rs 1.17 crore.

Audi India has launched its first electric vehicle, the e-tron, at Rs 99.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The luxury electric vehicle is available in two body styles (SUV and Sportback) and three variants (50, 55, and 55 Sportback). This lends it a definite advantage over its rivals, the Mercedes-Benz EQC and Jaguar I-Pace. The last two are offered only in a single level of trim.

Take a look at the variant-wise pricing of the e-tron:

Ex-showroom Price

e-tron 50

Rs 99.99 lakh

e-tron 55

e-tron Sportback 55

Audi will be offering the electric SUV with two complimentary chargers in 2021. Also, the carmaker has rolled out several after-sales services, warranty, and buyback plans

As with any Audi, the e-tron’s design is clean and minimalistic. The luxury SUV’s Matrix LED headlamps project the Audi and e-tron logos when you start the car, which looks out-of-this-world cool! Other highlights include the yellow brake callipers and the connected tail lamps that break into this nice, little jig while locking and unlocking the SUV. If you want to stand out from the pack, the e-tron Sportback with its sloping roofline will help you do just that.

Step inside, and the e-tron greets you to a cabin that has three screens: a digital driver display, a 10.1-inch MMI infotainment system, and a separate screen to operate the climate control. The e-tron’s interior is available in three colour options: black, black/brown, and black/beige.

The electric SUV packs features, including a Bang and Olufsen sound system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, four-zone climate control, air suspension, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof.

Passengers are secured by eight airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and tyre pressure monitoring.

All the e-tron’s variants use a dual-motor setup driving all four wheels. However, the power, battery pack, and range vary, depending on the variant you pick. All variants come with fast charging capabilities as well.
